Genius Hour: A Collaboration Between Middle 
and Elementary School Students

In this session you will discover how we implemented a genius hour project in a 4th grade classroom.  This included 8th grade mentor students and student-selected project topics.  The students learning outcomes ranged from learning through failure to successful completion of an end product.  All levels of learning were encouraged, supported and celebrated.
